Ok, so I can add first level navigation links fine, they all show up. I can add second level links without any errors, I just cannot get them to show up. I create them, select the appropriate parent item, check publish and submit. I roll over the first navigation link and nothing. When I go into the Primary Links section, under Menu, my second level links show up in the correct hierarchy and all of the settings appear to be correct. Does anyone know what might cause this?

What do you mean by roll-over? Which module are you using for drop-downs? You might have to mark the parent items as expanded to get them to work.

ok well I am in the irc channel and I was just told that I needed a module. That makes sense but I am still a little confused. What is the purpose of 2nd level navigation if you need a 3rd party module to use it? Shouldn't those links drop down by default?

The easiest way to demonstrate would be to go to my site: http://www.4moreappointments.com/ You see the About Us Section. I have a child link that I want to show up under that. Can I make that happen under the default drupal installation or do I need to install a module for that?

By default (without a module) the primary links ($primary_links) only show the 1st level of the menu.
