Great job with popular science again, certainly the best work I have seen from Pingv, would be tough not to do a great job for a large client like that.

Massive kudos to the winners for outstanding work. These sites should be added to the Drupal Showcase if they're not already included. It's the best way to signify what can be accomplished with the right people and tools for the job :)

Are there any details from Horizon or similar large scale shootouts?

Here is what I would like to see: There were X CMS powered sites and Y PHP sites, and Z static HTML sites. The average scores in functionality, effectiveness, attractiveness, clarity, whatever, etc. in for each category were........BLAH.

THAT might provide some powerful info...See, CMS sites scored 20% better for WHATEVER...and the Drupal sites outperformed the Joomla sites in OTHER THING...

Does such an analysis exist? You know, to make some things clear to some of the unwashed who still think that it's acceptable to do a site in Dreamweaver with no CMS...

I like this idea! Maybe when I have some time I will whip up a small app so people can submit site reviews including the platform/overall effectiveness of each category
