Ok, I'm not on the cutting edge; when the rest of the net was getting into this RSS thing, I was still diddling around with HTML; it's safe to say that in regards to RSS, I'm a virtual retard -- but I'm trying to catch up!

I've enabled the Aggregator module. I've found a few sites that list vast cornucopias of feeds. I've added a few of them to the aggregator in my site. But... it seems I just don't understand, I'm not doing it right, or something... and I don't even know enough to know where I'm going wrong.

When I click the link "Feed aggregator" in my nav menu,
1) it takes me to a page that is blank except for the title, "Feed aggregator", and the little orange RSS doohickey;
2) in the nav menu, there now appears a link called "Sources."
3) When I click that and go to that page, there are titles shown for the feeds I've added, and under them, a link that says "more" -- and one of them has its own orange RSS doohickey.
4) But when I click those "more" links, it takes me again to a page that is nearly blank, which shows only the link of *my* site, that the feed has "never" been updated, and yet another orange RSS doohickey --
5) and when THAT one is clicked, it takes you to the original page, on the original site, that I was trying to "aggregate" -- and THAT was the link I added as a feed.

This can't be right. I'm suffering a huge lack of understanding about what is supposed to occur, what I'm supposed to do to make it occur, and what I'm not doing, or what I'm doing that is wrong.

I've also activated the blocks for "latest" for these feeds, but nothing shows up at all -- again, I'm at a total loss to understand.

Can someone please, please enlighten this RSS retard?
