I am trying to figure out how to use Flexifilter with Custom Filter. They don't seem to want to get along. Flexifilter will create or search for an article based on the interwiki links. When I hover over a link, that has no article yet, it shows my url with the new page title, but when I click on it, it says "Page not found" .

I've deleted the interwiki rule from Custom Filter's Mediawiki syntax, thinking it would allow flexifilter to work, but still no go there. Is there something else I might be forgetting to do? I appreciate any help on this. Thank you.

I got this working. I was trying to have the Freelinking , not Flexifilter, work with Custom Filter. I thought Freelinking needed to operate after Custom Filter in the order of the filters in Input Formats. It turns out, Freelinking needs to occur before, with having deleted the interwiki link rule from the Mediawiki Syntax imported for Custom Filter.
