I added a feed and clicked "subscribe to: To items in this". I receive updates from the feed itself... a single message that batches up the updated feed items. However, I don't receive notifications of comments made to the nodes under the feed. What should I look at to diagnose?

This is a different feature that should be provided by the 'notifications content' module.
