Description
This project is no longer maintained in this form, because restarted as a complete Google Maps Tools project (not yet public).
The new project will
- provide an extensible, Form API like Maps API (1.0 done),
- provide different cck fields: address, point, geocoded address, marker, geocoded address marker (1.0 partially done)
- will support custom icons (1.0 done),
- will integrate views
- will provide map views
The project will be released if cck fields are ready to test. (I hope this week - 2008.05.07)

Sounds great ... any thoughts on when these will be available?
#2
Will you be able to upgrade from the previous version?
Thanks for the old module, this new one can only be better.
P.S. Gmap Taxonomy markers works well with this module and views.
#3
Nice! I hope this will be out soon...
#4
gr8! look forward to testing ;)
will there be a 6x version?

Sounds excellent. Would it be possible to import data - lat/longs for example - from the Location module? We already have a whole dataset using that system but the GCG Node interface & GCG Taxonomy is much closer to what we would want.
#6
Hope this comes out soon. Also subscribing to the import feature.
#7
subscribing...
#8
subscribing, will this module be compatible with gmap module?
greetings

#9
subscribing, so what's the best way to go at this moment in time?
#10
Also my question, what way to go ?
And it would be nice to get an update of the new project. Is there any time horizon of the new project ?
Thanks, and waiting with trembling for the next great module :)
#11
Absolutely brilliant! Looking forward to see the new module...

Subscribing...
I can't wait till the next version is out. I have a feeling your mapping module will revolutionize Drupal the same way Views and CCK did years earlier.

please keep the taxonomy GCG functionality.
