Hi everybody,
I have just made a web site under drupal 6.2
I have an issue with the forum...
It's write :
warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in ........./modules/forum/forum.module on line 678.
and :
You are not allowed to post new content in forum.
I am logged under admin, i have verify the permissions...
I have looked around on Google and maybe the Taxonomy module is implicated in this issue.
Please help me
I'm a poor man
PS: Thanks for Drupal develloper and community ! It's rocks !

I'm suspecting your using Advanced Forum, as I get a similar error. If so, you may want to subscribe to this thread http://drupal.org/node/254051.

No
I have no module installed instead of tinyMCE...
It's really a fresh install of Drupal 6.2
After looked everywhere it
After looked everywhere it seems to be the only one with this issue...
It's very strange because only people who have this issue have installed advanced forum... ? Not me.
...
I would download 6.2 fresh and replace the forum module on your site in case something got garbled in the transfer. It's odd yes. I just built a forum based site in 6.2 and have not seen the error.

warning: Invalid argument
Hi All,
This is my first post on the Drupal forum and I am a newbie to the Drupal environment. I have the latest release of WAMP installed and integrated with Drupal 6.2. I am getting the exact same warning when I try to access the forum that I have created.
warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in C:\wamp\www\modules\forum\forum.module on line 678.
I am not sure I understand from the discussion above as to what the solution is. I tried reinstalling the forum module but the problem persists.
I would be thankful if provided by pointers. Also please excuse me for being repetitive however my searches on the forums didnt exactly solve my problem. Thanks in advance and I am thankful to the developers of this wonderful piece of software!
re-enable forum module
I had the same error "....on line 678 - no permissions" etc.
I got around it:
When I deactivated the forum module and re-activated it again everything started to work like expected.
(Perhaps it has sometheing to do with the fact that I enabled all dependent modules at once: comment + forum + taxonomy, and the order plays an important role - who knows!)
Still applies to 6.9
Just ran into the same error with 6.9.
Disabling Forum and re enabling fixed the issue.
It does appear that the order they are enabled makes a difference.
Just wish I knew this before I spent a half an hour laying out all my forums.
Turning it on and off wiped out all the layout.
