Language switcher configuration

I installed the mods and set the workflow setting. Created an article in English and then translated that article in the other language. Now when I go to the other language by switching throught the block link I still see the original post in English with below next to the Readme button the other langauge. When I click on that I finally see the other content. Is this the way its supposed to work? I thought that when I switch language I only see posts in that specific language?

Did I misconfigure perhaps? And if so where?
