Add option like 'Alter Taxonomy Links' that works on Taxonomy: Terms fields in Views

It would be great to have a setting like Alter Taxonomy Links that would work on the Views fields, 'Taxonomy: Terms for x', where x is a defined category.

Alter Taxonomy Links doesn't operate on the terms field. it would also be better to add this as an additional setting, rather than expand the scope of the current setting. In my case it makes sense to have normal taxonomy links as text.

An alternative approach would be to add some more Views fields to Taxonomy Image, in addition to Taxonomy Image: Image, which only displays the image of the current term. These could follow the same lines as Taxonomy, e.g. 'Taxonomy Image: Images for x' fields, with one for each category.

An option to specify a resizing option for these images would be the icing on the cake (like the Node Images block, or an ImageCache preset).
