Logo and Header Descrpiton Disappeared

Somebody please help ,
I added the code for a webring at the page.tpl footer, then i cleared the cache in the performance area, and now the site lost it's logo and the header message ('title), i tried most solutions, including configuring the theme, then putting default logo, tried clearing the cache again, but no use,

As the problem was the webring code, the logos came back when i replaced with an old backup file, after so many problems , i think garland theme is not for personalizing, it should be left as it is, now it's time to find another theme
