Which Audio / Media module(s) to choose

Hello

I'm a bit confused about the number of modules offering management of audio data (drupal 5.x). Which of these modules will survive and be ported to drupal 6.x (there is an ongoing discussion about API and expected changes in architecture) ?
So I need some help selecting the right modules to:
1) create nodes to store audio data (mp3 coded)
2) to set up nodes to assemble audio (created in step 1) as playlists
