Zen has been around for a long while now and there's always been lots of talk about Zen Garden.
Can someone please point me to where all these Zen sub-themes are located?

The CSS Zen Garden is the inspiration for the name of the Zen theme.

Unfortunately, while the Zen theme is quite capable to be extended via CSS-only and many, many sub-themes have been built for various websites :-) , none of those sub-themes have been contributed back to the Zen project to be included with the Zen download. :-(
