I read through the DST issue #11077: Introduce Daylight Saving Time for Drupal but it seems the patches are for Drupal 7.x now. Is there any patches out there that work for 6.x, to make Drupal observe DST where appropriate?

ainigma32 commentedI don't think so. The usual workflow is to first create the new feature in HEAD (i.e. 7.x) and then, possibly, back port it to an earlier version.

dave reidOnly bug fixes are accepted for 6.x and 5.x so we won't break APIs. Feature requests for 6.x need to be provided as a contrib module.

dave reidainigma32, thanks for the housekeeping you've done recently, but you don't need to set issues that are 'wont fix', 'by design', or 'fixed' as closed. Or 'duplicate' also.
