First crack at a port.

Patches against Job queue module v5.x-3.0 are attached. This port is untested with existing jobs from Drupal 5 sites, but no changes to the database structure were made so it should be OK.

I also added a README.txt file as per #226143: sample implementation.

New full version, derived from patch.

Verified with Coder module, though I don't know how to test it. Organic Groups 6.x told me to get this module, so I did :)

Any plans by the module maitainer to officially adopt this as a D6 version or to release their own D6 port?

So we have been working on updating the module to Drupal 6 in the HEAD CVS version. Please provide patches against that, it is mostly done already, and has been so for a couple weeks.
