display nodes directly in lists

Hi!

I have made a really simple site, and my nodes does not have any comments or anything. I've removed everything that makes visitors able to click a node to "read the whole node and comments and stuff" cause that wouldn't be necessary. But in lists (such as the front page); is it possible to make nodes appear directly in the list? This would be to make the life of the people updating the site a little bit easier. So that they will not have to click the node before they get the opportunity to edit it.
