drupal and subdomains

I have one drupal site www.example.com and I created a sub domain using the cpanel of my hosting server www.blog.example.com, where i installed a wordpress site.

The problem is that my sub domain doesn't work (direct me to the main domain). The only way to access my sub-domain is by using: www.example.com/blog

I appreciate any help.
