Enabling Clean URLs, need help...

Heya,
So I installed Drupal 5.7 and went to enable Clean URLs as usual, but for some reason when I click run test it changes the URL from: http://www.spencerhill.us/arico-foods/?q=admin/settings/clean-urls to http://www.spencerhill.us/arico-foods/admin/settings/clean-urls and then says page not found... I am so bad with Drupal can someone help?

Yeah, that means that either

Yeah, that means that either your server doesn't have mod_rewrite enable, or your .htaccess file isn't get honored by the server (AllowOverride, I think).

This would be something to resolve with your host. It's not a drupal issue.

So I just grabbed a .htaccess from another Drupal site and pasted it over... viola!
