unable to access postauto settings. unable to remove module as well.
i installed pathauto and then realized i needed token as well. i installed token, activated both modules and gave myself permission to use them. when i tried to go to the pathauto settings page, i found myself at the basic "site configuration page." i can see all the other modules (fckeditor, etc), but there's no link to pathauto. the url, however, reads "/admin/settings/pathauto" so pathauto is obviously there somewhere.
when i go to various nodes, i can see the pathauto is activated, and i can see the link back to the pathauto settings page. again, this page doesn't load, it just shows me the regular site configuration options.
i tried removing pathauto and token from my modules, and then reinstalling them. when i reinstall them, they're already activated (i.e. the check box is clicked off). clearly, there's some record of both of them in some table somewhere. i tried emptying the sessions and cache table, and then reinstalling. again, they're activated without me telling drupal to activate them.
this is really annoying. there's no reason for me to have pathauto if i can't change the settings. i've searched the forums, but i can't find anyone who's had a similar problem. any ideas? at this po

Check in www.example.com/admin/build/path . I just found that about half an hour ago, too! :) (The automated alias settings is where pathauto is configured).
Dave
i was just at that page.
i don't see an automated alias setting, or anything like that. am i missing something?
i'm an idiot
i forgot to give myself permission again to use pathauto. so is this where the pathauto settings page is buried? it's not under "site configuration"?
