URGENT! I accidentally deleted the "Story" content type. Is there a way to recreate it? I am not very savvy at this, so if it possible I really need simple instructions...

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Click Admin >> content types >> add content type.

Or put this as the url: admin/content/types/add

"story" is nothing special - just the default "normal" content type. Just adjust the settings to what you wish,

on another note u can use cck to replicate other content types...

That is probably a little much for this task (and may not work - the OP seems to have deleted the story content type). Sometimes (most of the time?) it is best to keep things simple.

Thanks so much...I was really concerned after I accidentally deleted it, fortunately only a little bit of work got destroyed.
