Ecommerce module for Drupal 6 or go back to ver 5?

Singer221 - May 10, 2008 - 00:06

I've built my website with drupal 6 and want to use the ecommerce module, or ANY kind of shopping cart solution that works with version 6, but I find nothing in the module area. The drupal ecommerce mod looks like the perfect solution, but it's not compatible with ver 6, so I'm stuck.

Does anyone know when the Drupal ecommerce mod will be available for ver 6? Or what would someone suggest I do seeing as I need a solution asap?

I'd rather hold out for a mod update than go back to ver 5, or worse, find a third-party to integrate with that I can't trust or communicate with easily.

I need wisdom from the drupal experts out there.....

Thanks!

Neither Ubercart nor e-Commerce are compatible with Drupal 6 yet. That will probably be a couple of months out. Work has begun to update Ubercart, but it won't be going full swing until the 1.0 version is finally released.

Any new information about Ubercart nor e-Commerce port to Drupal V6?

You can search for Drupal 6

You can search for Drupal 6 on Ubercart.org, check out the dev version in our project page, cruise through the development roadmap thread, or sign up for the D6 group at http://support.ubercart.org. ; )

Lots of info out there to be had... the gist of it is we're not quite there yet. Lyle's working on update functions for all our modules, and I still need to finish some UI work but haven't had development time on it in like a month - which stinks. : (
