will this module be upgraded for Drupal6 ?

I haven't tried this module yet? It sounds like it does exactly what I need it to... Are there any alternatives to this module (better ways to do the same thing)? If this is it, I need this feature in Drupal 6.x so I would be happy to port it. Feedback, anyone?
