Description
I noticed when this is used with the e-commerce module, the link appears when an "Auction Item" is created, but does not appear when a normal, "Tangible Product" is created.
Personally, I would like it to appear when any sort of node from e-commerce is created.

Please check the settings for your content types:
To see the setting, please go to the content type admin page, Administer -> Content -> Content types, on your site, and click on the edit link next to the content types where you would like to turn on the contact link and look for the option 'Show "contact the author" link for this content type'. Click the enabled button and save to see your changes. Also this link is only visible to logged in users.
