Is there a way in wich a user can create new atributes options from the very moment she is creating a product node?
I mean, for example: i have a product wich is a sticker, and it comes in many sizes (width&height) but not all the stickers have the same sizes available, if fact they are all diferent, so it would be great if i could have an atribute "size" but add the options for it in the very moment i'm creating the product. If not i would have to go to atributes managent first, add the sizes for a product, and only then go ahead and create that product selecting those options i just created. got what i mean?

i'd apretiate any help, thanks in advance

I understand what you mean, but this is a feature that won't be added into the 1.0 version. It's not a bad idea for a later version, but honestly I think that setting up your products with default attributes and options first is the better way to go about it.

This should have been reopened long ago. Let's either add the feature or mark it as won't fix.

Sure seems like a necessary feature for some use cases, such as the one originally posted.

Is all that's needed here a link to "add new option" from the product options page?

I think I should have read that a little closer. The functionality I was thinking of, adding options per-product, is already in place (but the interface might be broken in D7/UC3? - see #1273572: Problems with product-level attributes and options (possibly related to caching)). I think the OP wanted to be able to see the list of options assigned to the product, and be able to add one directly from there. In other words, you can link to existing options for that attribute on that screen AND if one doesn't exist, add it globally right from the product screen.

Upon further review, I don't think its worth the effort. I just need to figure out where my Options tab is on the product edit screen...

Really amazing that this ability does not exist. My use case is for boots. Each boot has it's own weird unique color combos. Being able to have a color attribute that I can add color options to when adding a new product would be fantastic.

I have yet another case. My client is selling event tickets through the store, with numerous options. Some of the examples of attribute options include:
$95 both days
$50 Monday only
$50 Tuesday only
11th February
12th February
13th February...

I've had to replace this with generic terms like:
Ticket A
Ticket B
Ticket C

Pretty much every event they've given me so far has had its own unique set of options.

Would this be easy enough to implement? In the attached screenshot, you can see the screen where an options' cost, price and weight are set. Maybe the Options name can also be overwritten on a product by product basis? Technically, in the case I've given, it will still be 'Ticket A' and 'Ticket B' etc (for unique id purposes or whatever), but the label displayed to screen is overwritten.
