two questions: v6 & Zen

1)
Since v5.x seems to have been the most successful Drupal version so far, are most website and module developers going to give Drupal 6.x as miss, and just wait a year or so for 7.x to be released? In other words, is 6.x an 'in between' release that won't really catch on much before 7.x is finished?

2)
Does anyone know off-hand when Zen will likely be ready for 6.x?
A couple of weeks? A month? Two months? Six months?
Which ballpark are we talking about?
