Pop up windows

Hi,

I am building a site which has a relatively small display area for content. Some of the content items will contain a large amount of text and I would to display these in a pop-up window.

I am wondering if there are any modules (or code snippets) that you to tag content items as either being displayed normally or in a pop-up window.

If it is not possible to tag individual nodes then being able to specify a content type or taxonomy category would be acceptable.
