could you please tell me how i could have on latest news the nodes i want? i have noticed that views ticker displays always the same items. For instance the demonstration site on the news ticker does not show the latest added nodes

You must specify it in filters section, select the node type you want and in the sort section sort it by created time descending then the new items will appear.
