I grabbed the Map Highlight module b/c of the USA Map example listed and I'm finding that the exmaple map doesn't actually load in its entirety in Drupal.
If I remove chunks of the mapping (various islands and small segments of states) the map will work fine. Then as soon as I tried to start adding in the links to go somewhere other than # it stopped working again. There seems to be some sort of max character limit.. any reason for this?

Jesterw00t commentedI ended up resolving this problem by turning the image map into a seperate file and calling it via a phpinclude.

WorldFallz commentedGlad you got it working-- though I'm not sure why it would have been a problem. The world map is quite large, but the USA map isn't really. In any case, I wouldn't think the problem had anything to do with the module or the plugin-- which just deal with js and jquery. I've no clue if there is a char limit on the body field of nodes though-- it's an interesting question. I searched a little, but couldn't find anything concrete.

cosomo commentedJust FYI: I have exactly the same problem....the map contains a very large (=complexe) polygone, and the image does not appear...
