It would be really helpful to be able to use Events with the Views module, so I wonder if there is any target date (no matter how rough) for this to be available.

The step above worked, in that the Modules can now be selected; but I can't choose any Events fields in the Views module, so it doesn't seem to be working.

Where can I find the event_views.info file? I don't seem to have on in the events module folder?

That'd be obvious, since the module hasn't been updated since then, so the bug is still present in the code. I'm personally just in the process of setting up my first Drupal 6 page where I would need Events+Views, so I'll be revisiting it at a later stage, until then you could help with some debugging yourself.

Anyway, I'll mark this now as a duplicate of http://drupal.org/node/246564 and provide the same details I've provided here in the other thread.
