My first Drupal website http://www.thisdir.com/

Hi guys!!

Well, this is my first Drupal website. Actually, it is my first website ever.

I learned HTML and CSS from some books about a year ago, but it wasn't until I started the design of this website that I "really" learned HTML and CSS, because I faced so many issues that do not appear in the books.

As far as the design goes, I used the Zen Theme's StarterKit, it's perfect if your theme is going to be mostly based on CSS. It gives you a lot of power to write rules for specific regions without affecting the rest of the layout.

For the few images I have on my site I used the GIMP. The logo, the menu title, the primary links, everything was made with the GIMP. It's a very powerful substitute for PhotoShop. Give it a try if you haven't used it :)

So, my goal with this website is to start working from home using affiliate marketing. I hope it's a good start :)

Now, I want to learn PHP and MYSQL so I can make powerful websites using Drupal and also to be able to contribute to the great Drupal community that has helped me a LOT.
