Hi,
I tried to submit a bug report and kept getting a validation error related to the component (see attached file). I tried several component choices but with no luck.
Thanks!
Cheers,
Andy

michelleThat isn't a valid component of views or even a valid version... How are you even finding those values in the drop down? I just went to the views issue queue and am not getting anything like that.

merlinofchaos commentedMy guess is that the javascript 'change' event didn't fire and it still has the 'Drupal' components.

andytrek commentedI think merlinofchaos is right.
I open the form and select Project:Views; Version: 5.7 and I get a massive list for the Component select.
Just noticed I got the version wrong - should be 5.x-1.6
I'll try submitting it in IE and see if the javascript kicks in

michelleIf you want something that works in the mean time, just go to the views issue queue and submit from there. That's what I thought you were doing, which is why I was totally confused by your screenshot and went to get merlin. LOL

aclight commentedI believe you've run into this bug: #197281: JS to update version + component when changing projects doesn't work on issue edit/create form.
