I unpublished the following node since it has a very racist tone and uses bad language http://drupal.org/node/258347

Many people from India followed up in the comments taking the bait.

I send the following warning via the contact tab:

The "racist tone" & bad language were in an alleged quote.

I'm not sure if and how we should deal with these kind of posts.

Seems there is confusion about the use of the name "Drupal" in a company's name. I referred that part to the relevant people in the Drupal Association.

I also received a lengthy IRC transcript from the poster of that forum post. I can share this via email to those webmaster who are interested, but don't feel it is right to post it.

Moreover, to confuse matters further, the user (asharpvision/varun/linkingplanet) posted elsewhere here http://drupal.org/node/198605#comment-651251 with the name Marcos and Drupalpoint responded belatedly with further sparring.

IMO, this has no place in the forums, and these posts should be deleted. It's unsubstantiated, such name calling sets the wrong tone for the forums.
