tjholowaychuk commentedCool, looking at the JS made things more apparent. I can see how this would be nice for Thickbox to quickly display only the content area of a page rather than the entire theme with headers/footers etc. Simple but very nice idea!

if you click the play the video link on the upper left a thickbox will open with a youtube player in it. I didn't want to load up the external player until the user requested it (some pages have a lot of videos), so a little AHAH seemed like the solution, and this seemed like a more reusable way of creating the effect I needed.
