I cannot select any Meta Tags to edit or appear on the nodes. Please help!

What version of nodewords? In 6.x-2.x-dev the screen you captured is not available, so do you mean 5.x-1.7 or 6.x-1.0-rc1? Assuming 5.x-1.7...
Can you check whether there is a
modules/nodewords/metatagsdirectory?Could you test whether nodewords-5.x-1.8 works?
