Summary and Full View shows duplicates

Description
I have installed the Views Bonus Pack 5.x-1.2-alpha2, and I noticed the "taxonomy_directory" view shows incorrectly. At the top it should show two terms for "a", not 10.
On the bottom, it should simply show:
animal control department (5)
animals (5)
Please advise
FYI... I'm running Drupal 5.7

I've always had problems with this functionality. Try version 1.1. I have that version on a site and it works fine. I'm going to use it for a new site I'm working on now.

Check that. It doesn't actually work with the new site. It must be the newer version of Views. I might downgrade since this functionality is so critical.

Read that issue, it might explain what is happening.
Not sure where to go from here. :(
I really need this functionality to work.
