Custom Modifications Needed for Imagenotes Module - Will Pay $$$

mkinnan - May 16, 2008 - 01:28

I need more modifications to the Image Notes module (http://drupal.org/project/imagenotes). There is already a patch to make it Drupal 5.7 compatible, but I need to continue to modify the module for Drupal 5.7 as follows:

On the 'Access Control' page I would like to be able to enable/disable the permissions for image annotating of 'your own images' as well as 'other images.' I want users (i.e. annonymous, authenticated user, etc.) to have permission to annotate images that are not their own, but I do not want them to be able to edit annotations that were created by another user. However, I do want the OWNER of the image to be able to modify/delete ANY annotation (their own or another user) on their image.

I also want a checkbox on the user's 'Account Settings' page giving them the option to allow/disallow other users to annotate their images. This way, if a user does not want anyone to annotate their images, other than themselves, they can disable the feature.

I also want the annotations to be able to understand HTML code so that hyperlinks can be made.

Lastly, I would also ask that a patch be made and uploaded to the imagenotes project.

I hope my descriptions are clear and understandable. If there is anything that remains vague or you have a better suggestion, I welcome your input.

Please provide a cost estimate and potential schedule when contacting me. Please contact me at mkinnan@clemson.edu. Payment will be via PayPal and would be sent after all the features are demonstrated on a demo site.

Thank you for your interest!

Kind Regards,

Mark

Still Looking for someone

I am still looking for someone to work on this project. If you can do everything except the HTML code in the annotations, that will be okay.
