Is there any friendly way to manually sort images in gallery?
Imagine gallery with 50 images, I don't want to give weight to each image, I just want to quickly move some images up and down.

You want the Nodeorder module, which is absolutely brilliant for this, drag n'drop ordering of images. I've got this working with image_gallery on Drupal 5 http://threadscape.co.uk & 4.7 http://tonysleep.co.uk sites but as yet, 6 is a mystery to me. http://drupal.org/node/193056 is where to start.

It would take very minor code additions to image_gallery for Nodeorder to work with it out of the box, if installed. But I'm kindergarten at this stuff and no developer.

Sorry, unfortunately this request is way too specific. Please have a look at the issue queue - Image maintainers are buried already. You might want to try to get further support at http://drupal.org/support. Additionally, the answer to your question might be covered in the handbooks at http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/image already.
If you were able to solve this issue on your own in the meantime, you might want to add the involved steps to this closed issue, so other users searching for a similar solution might find it.
