User Profile Form to Show up on Registration Page

As I read, in the former Node Profile module, it was possible to mark a user profile, so that it would be presented as part of the registration form. In this new Content Profile module, I think there is no option any more to do this.

Currently it seems that the profile information can only be entered AFTER registration when the user edits his information.

The profile pages should be configurable so that selected pages need to be filled out on the registration form.

The additional feature of the profile module would be also beneficial. In that module it is possible to mark individual fields as hidden on the registration page, so that the user does not see them when he registers. (I want to make registration as small as possible and only gather the minimum information. Later on, when a user is registered and wants to edit his information, then I will force additional data).
