Problem with IE

Description
Not displaying in IE. The block shows with the scan bar running in the middle. But slide show does not start.
IE posts the following error on page ..
Line: 783
Char: 5
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method
Code: 0
Seems to run OK on Firefox and Safari.
Internet Explorer details: Version 7.0.5730.11
Running on Drupal 5.7
Also I have another site running the Drupal 6.x version actually runs in the same browser, but still posts a similar error.
Any ideas?

same here in IE 7, I noticed it works again if you empty your cache, but then it breaks again on second reload :-(

This is a real bummer .. This is a great module, but I have had to kill it on all my drupal 5 sites.
