Which version of Actions are you using? If you are using Actions 2, you dont need this module.

We are using actions.module,v 1.38 2008/04/29 20:00:33 with nodetriggers.module,v 1.1 2007/11/14 22:45:42

Note that the error appears with or without the node.module.patch
