could drupal make a music remix site?
For a long time I've been thinking about using drupal to make a community music site where users can upload songs and remix other people's songs.

Now I know that Ber Kessels has been working on a similar idea with Remix Reading. It is a good start to where drupal could go as far as online collaboration, however more can be done. Some ideas I have involve using node relativity in conjunction with the creative commons module and the media module. However, these modules are still in 4.5 and I don't know if they plan to be upgraded.
I would like to have a site similar to CCmixter, where songs can be uploaded, and a remix tree is tracked or created. Anybody have any idea how to begin doing this or is trying to do this? I would like to find out who is interested in using drupal to do online media collaboration, or suggestions of how to even approach this sort of site. Ber, perhaps you could provide some links to the remixreading roadmap or ideas?
