Trying to remove Teasers from the classified ad section before they have been published with lm_paypal

Issue Summary

I am trying to remove the teasers from ads that have not yet been publish through the lm_paypal module. When I create the ads I tried simply putting them as unpublished by default but when I do that lm_paypal_paid adverts does not detect them at all. So I have them published by default, and they show up as "Latest ad: XXXX" on the classified ad list (ed-classified node) and when they are clicked on they bring up "Not yet published". How do I remove them so that they are completely invisible until they are published through paypal.

Like I said I cannot simply unpublish them because if I do the lm_paypal module does not detect them. Any ideas?
