If the CSS <div> for each output vocabulary term was optionally given a unique ID, then CSS could be used to give them a uniqiue style, such as a unique icon. I was inspired by the article "prefixing the Current Node Title with an icon".
I would guess that the best naming nomenclature would be to have a prefix followed by the vocabulary number (the same as the "name=" value?).

nancydruA unique icon is as simple as using Taxonomy Image.
However, adding a unique class is simple enough.

nancydruFix committed to both -dev versions.
There is an additional class of "taxonomy-list-term-xxx."

iantresman commentedBrilliant, I hadn't heard of the Taxonomy Image module before, and I shouldn't be surprised that it exists.
And your prodigious enhancements to Taxonomy List is quite something. Thanks again.

nancydruAnd, if it helps, the current maintainer if Taxonomy Image is just as brilliant and beautiful as the maintainer of Taxonomy List.
