Stock module for Drupal 6.x

Since this module depends on the Stock API module, I believe that one would have to be updated first. I just submitted a hacked-together version of the Stock API module that seems to work with 6.2. See http://drupal.org/node/260026

Hopefully that update will help this one get ported faster.

I did install th StockAPI for Drupal 6.2 and it works, but what still doesn't work is the stock module it still says the module is incompatible with Drupal 6.2.

Any suggestions where I can download the Stock module compatible with Drupal 6.2?

Updating Stock API was just a prerequisite (and note that the code I submitted for that module is alpha code -- it still needs review). Someone will need to update the Stock module similarly to work with 6.2.

I might have some time to look at it this week, but I'm not the module's maintainer. I can only submit code, and hope the maintainer adds it to the project.

So the stock Api module has been updated to work with 6x drupal, but then we would still need a 6x stock module to be available to get any use of it ?

I am really looking forward to this module for D6. Oh btw now that the Google and WSJ stock quotes are second to second update, will this be available with this Stock module as well. I would have really pitched in if I had the knowledge to get this moving. Any effort towards this is much much appreciated. If there is any simple cut and pastes (in other words any no-brainer jobs/mechanical jobs like a repetitive task or such if you know what I mean .... ) or that sort than a mech engineer can be of any use, I will definitely support to get this expedited.

Please do not lump together more than one feature/task into one issue.

This issue is about a 6.x port of the module. Please open a new issue for other data sources.

This is a patch to get the module to not error in D6. Thanks to coder module.

If there are errors please explain how to do it right so I can, I am looking to help just don't have a lot of experience with rolling patches
