Hello everyone,

I just opened up an online Drupal store where you can purchase various Drupal items. So far I have shirts, mousepads, and bumper stickers.

More will come soon, and different varitions will be added as well.

Take a look: Drupal Swag.

Just wondering. . . do any of the proceeds go back towards drupal?

If there is enough interest and people buy consistently, proceeds will definitely be donated to the Drupal project.

commercialisation of drupal like this ... I don't know whether we are entitled to do something like this...

I own the "real" Drupal store on Cafepress. So far, exactly one sale, with $5 profit :P

If you want to collaborate on this, we can upload images to the gallery here or something like that. I could create a Drupal Gmail account (or get a schwag@drupal.org or something) that we could all get access to.

It's very expensive to use CafePress anywhere outside the US, unfortunately. If we want to print up Drupal schwag and ship direct, we'd be happy to help with this.

haha yeah - I tried to register "drupal" but learned it was already taken lol.

How could we collaborate? I'd like to, but not sure what you mean.

I think it is good to have the two different places, since each cafepress shop only allows you to have one design of a particular item. This way, we can offer essentially the same items, but with various designs and styles :-)

Stupid cafepress...you're right. OK, forget, lets put up shop.drupal.org and make it an ecommerce site.

I think it is a good idea to create a ecommerce showcase like this on drupal ;-)

+2 cents from my side

I wouldn't mind a drupal mousemat but $15.99 is a little steep for my means, but perhaps I uderestimate the cost of mousemats.

In any case Cafepress is not good for me based in Tokyo. Ecommerce sounds like the way to go for something like this.

Drupal really is branching out these days since the donation fever swept the community, I'm amazed at the new-found enthusiasm.

Has there been any update on this? The Drupal Association offers Swag to select members but I'm wondering if there's an officially sanctioned store that I've missed...
