I've created a Drupal site for a client, and the content is purely text, with no images. After making changes to my local instance of the site, if I wanted to now update the remote site (including the new menus I've added, and the changes to the articles), is a sufficient for me to export the entire local database, and then import that on the remote MySQL server? If all of the contents and menu items are stored in the database, then it seems to me that it would be sufficient, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know? Thanks!

The way you describe is indeed the way it is done.
