Hi,

This is a known problem with Drupal 6 (specifically the jQuery version included with Drupal 6). It has nothing to do with this module. It gets triggered by Google's Javascript that gets included by the Google Analytics module. Your best choice is indeed to use HTML target until this is solved.

I am marking it as a duplicate of the original problem (#256285).
