When i create a page or a story, is it possible to add an option where i can set a future publishing date?
for example i create a page/story today (may 20th) and want it to be published june 1st
an unpublishing date would be cool too

On http://drupal.org/project/scheduler there's a module which does all this. When I write a text, I have a collapsing area with "Scheduling options" at the bottom, offering me an option to "Publish on" and to "Unpublish on" a date to be selected from the familiar Javascript calendar. Don't know if it's ready for Drupal 6, but on 5.x it works flawlessly.
