I have some tabular data (html table) and would like to provide a OS X 'spotlight' style search box that hides table rows as the user types, leaving only matching row(s) visible... kind of a spin on #autocomplete...

Anyone done this with Drupal/jQuery? If anyone can point me in the right direction, very much appreciated

I am not aware of a Drupal module but you might want to check out http://plugins.jquery.com/project/ColumnFilters
