I have enabled the image module for the first time after upgrading the site to 4.6.2.
When the image module is on I notice a lot of spam in the log like this :

I have the files folder set to 766 permissions.
It seems to create one of these entries every time a node is accessed.

images not displaying
After further testing : I create an image node and upload the image.
I can see the image files uploaded to the images directory.
The images do not display when you view the node.
Me too!
Same exact problem. Images upload, can't view them, and 403 error. Anyone know why?

It is comforting to see that I am not the only one with this problem. Images upload, but I can't view them and get a 403 error when I try to view them in my browser. I have manually set the file permisions to 755 and I am still not allowed to see the photos, the exact error I get is:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /test/drupal/files/images/62-13-MacoM-01.thumbnail.jpg on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I havn't modified very much besides the sites theme I am running 4.6.4 with the latest image module 4.6. I would consider my site pretty vanilla.
