how to use OG event Gant?

We are trying to implement a gant chart in our drupal website we used this link http://drupal.org/node/226598 to make it.
But we have some problems about it we did every step except the last one.But
We could not find where to paste this ,we tried to paste it in the file themes/template.php but this caused an error and we coulnd't open our webpage from the browser. We would be very happy if you tell us how to insert it and where if you know it ...
